ISO= 400
Aperture= 2.8
Shutter Speed= 1/13

From this assignment I learned that Black and White can be a cool effect. I also learned that you have to get the balance right between being to light and too dark. Also, it is easy to make the photo look grainy so you have to make sure that you don't have a lot of digital noise.

Gimp Dictionary Assignment

In this assignment we had to take a word and create a picture using Gimp that shows the meaning of the word through the picture. It had to be creative and easy to tell how the pictures tie in with the word.

During this assignment I refreshed my memory on a lot of the Gimp tools, such as, the free selct and scale tools. I learned that making a picture like this takes a lot of time and creativity.

ISO= 1600
Shutter Speed= 1/1600
Aperture= f/8

From this assignment I learned that when you change your angles and where you are standing when you take a picture of the building, it can change the whole picture. So just a little movement can make big changes and make the picture look a lot cooler.

Gimp School Context

In this assignment we had to take a picture of the school and add other things to it to change the context. We had to use the different tools in Gimp to make it look as realistic as possible.

From this assignment I learned that it can be difficult to change the context of a picture and that it really takes a lot of imagination.

Photography Assignment 4 (Light Painting)

In this assignment we had to take a light painting picture of an object framed in light. You had to take a photo in a dark room and use different lights to showcase the object.

ISO= 200
Aperture= 3.5
Shutter Speed= 6 sec

During this assignment I learned that light painting is a lot more difficult than it looks. It is hard to get the right lighting and to get everything to look right. It is especially difficult, even impossible to get a good light painting picture with a moving object. I also learned that you need a thin light not a broad one.
